Added to this are site set-up and travel – both listed as separate items in the quote. Stair treads, old paint layers, repairs and skirting boards are priced by effort. Small areas under 35 m² carry a higher price per m². All figures are approximate – the fixed price is in the quote.
Hundreds of projects every year in Berlin and Brandenburg – shown here sorted by job site. All photos are from our own projects.

Public school new-build near Berlin, complete flooring works as subcontractor: 850 m² of subfloor levelled and linoleum installed in three colours, seams thermally welded, plus 700 linear metres of solid wood skirting. Accepted and handed over.
Office fit-out as subcontractor for a general contractor – three different floor coverings on one level, cleanly worked into each other: approx. 300 m² design flooring on polyurethane underlay, 200 m² wood floor sanded, pigmented and oiled, 180 m² wood floor refreshed with Pallmann products and 80 m² carpet (Object Carpet, 4 m broadloom). Plus various profiles and transitions between the floorings, fitting around floor tanks, glass partitions and convectors, and minor wood floor repairs.
Private client new-build (Sommerstraße): subfloor fully prepared and levelled across the entire area, preceded by CM moisture tests on the screed with a written notification of concerns – we only install once the facts are right. Then 250 m² of vinyl flooring (6 mm, with integrated underlay) installed floating and 180 linear metres of skirting boards fitted.
Residential complex in Wandlitz near Berlin: simple painting work in ten apartments and two stairwells – ceilings and walls, plus lacquering the door frames. Everything masked cleanly, all floors fully protected with fleece. The job is ongoing – apartment by apartment to the same standard.
Period-building partner project: six apartments with complete subfloor renovation – old Berlin timber sub-structures straightened, OSB boards installed, built up with mesh and flexible levelling and finished with fibre-reinforced UZIN levelling compound on flexible UZIN primer. On top, approx. 250 m² of solid oak strip parquet, fully bonded with UZIN parquet adhesive, plus renewed thresholds and skirting boards in the classic Old Berlin profile.
More photos from this job site (timber sub-structure, OSB, levelling, thresholds) coming soon.

Lacquer or oil, matt or gloss, natural or coloured? The photos here show every variant – we explain the difference below in the section “Lacquer or Oil?”.

We don't just show start and finish: the steps in between are part of honest job-site documentation.
The same project in direct comparison – drag the slider across the image.
Decades-old, cracked layers of paint on floorboards – a treasure often sleeps underneath. Here a gallery project: sanded, filled and sealed.
The same hallway – old paint on the left, uncovered wood on the right.
More job-site documentaries (herringbone installation, bathroom renovation) are coming – we take photos on every site.

Our parquet projects in Berlin and Brandenburg run through the partner portal parkett-schliff.de – the work on site is carried out by our team. So what clients rate there on Google is our work. See for yourself:
View Google reviews →Have you been a client of ours? Review us on Google – it helps us more than any advertising.
What clients ask us most often before placing an order.
Usually not. The rooms being worked on must be empty – the other rooms remain habitable. Freshly sealed floors can usually be walked on carefully the next day; furniture returns after a few days, rugs only after about two weeks. You receive the exact schedule with the quote.
Much less than most people expect: our sanding machines run with dust extraction. No job site is dust-free, so we cover up and recommend removing delicate items from the rooms.
Allow around three to four days – not full working days throughout, but the curing steps set the pace: with lacquer the floor is filled twice, primed and lacquered twice, and every coat has to dry. Depending on season and room climate this takes a little longer or shorter. Two days is not realistically possible – a durable floor needs this time.
We take over empty rooms. If you cannot manage that yourself, we clear and refit by arrangement for an extra charge – just mention it in your enquiry.
Both are right; it depends on how you live. In short: lacquer is low-maintenance and robust, oil feels more natural and can be touched up locally. We explain this in detail in the section Lacquer or Oil? – and at the on-site visit we apply both on your floor.
Almost always. We sand off old paint and ox-blood layers, screw down loose boards and replace damaged ones. Send us photos – we will tell you honestly whether it is worth it.
Yes – throughout Berlin, Potsdam and Brandenburg. Travel is listed as a separate item in the quote, so there are no surprises.
The assessment usually arrives within 48 hours. The execution date depends on our workload – we give you a realistic date with the quote and keep it.
Yes. After photos or measurement you receive a written fixed-price quote with all items. Payment is due after handover; for larger projects in instalments according to progress.
The fastest way is the enquiry form with photo upload. Of course you can also reach us directly:
Tip: attach photos of the floor or room right away – it speeds up your quote.

Three things you can rely on with us.
We are a partner company of the trade portal parkett-schliff.de and carry out parquet projects across Berlin and Brandenburg on an ongoing basis – from single rooms to large commercial sites.
We work consistently with PALLMANN, the German parquet specialist (Uzin Utz Group): seals such as Pall-X 96, oils and care systems from a single source. That means extremely hard-wearing surfaces, low-emission products, and a system where primer, seal and care are made for each other. Premium products are our standard – not a surcharge.
For subfloors we rely on UZIN installation materials (levelling compounds, adhesives) – and we install brand parquet and timber from Hinterseer, Bauwerk and HARO. For resilient and textile floorings we trust Tarkett (linoleum, design floors, commercial floors), Gerflor (vinyl design floors, linoleum) and Interface (carpet tiles for offices and commercial spaces). On request we advise you brand-neutrally on what suits your room and budget.
We work for every kind of client – from a single room to entire commercial properties. The fact that so many owners and business clients have trusted us for years speaks for itself – short paths, no long chains. We answer enquiries quickly: as a rule, no e-mail sits with us longer than two days. We keep our appointments, and if things get tight, we say so honestly.

Every pin is a job site – across Berlin, Potsdam and Brandenburg. For privacy reasons we show streets, not house numbers.
Important: this is only an excerpt. With more than 3,000 projects in recent years, by far not every job gets a pin – we only add what is cleanly documented at street level, and much remains unmentioned at our clients' request. The map keeps growing nonetheless. Map data: © OpenStreetMap contributors.
We consistently install brand products: surfaces by PALLMANN, installation materials by UZIN, parquet and timber by Hinterseer, Bauwerk and HARO – resilient and textile floorings by Tarkett, Gerflor and Interface. Here are the products we work with every day:
After sanding, your wooden floor gets a new surface – and there are exactly two ways to go. Both protect the wood, but they feel different and live differently. Here is the difference, simply explained:
Lacquer settles like an invisible protective layer over the wood – comparable to a sheet of glass on a beautiful table. Water, red wine and street dirt stay on top and simply wipe away.
Good to know: Very easy-care and hard-wearing – ideal for families, kitchens, hallways and anyone who wants minimal effort. However, a deep scratch usually means re-sanding the whole surface; spot repairs are hardly possible.
Oil soaks into the wood instead of coating it – the wood stays open-pored, feels warm and natural, and the grain comes fully into its own. You can genuinely feel you are walking “on wood”, not on a coating.
Good to know: Small damages and signs of living can be repaired locally – without re-sanding everything. In return, an oiled floor wants a little attention: re-oil now and then and clean with the right wood floor soap. If you enjoy that, you are rewarded with the most beautiful wood look there is.
Sheen level: With lacquers you choose how much the floor should shine – from dead matt (looks almost untreated) via semi-matt (our most popular classic, see the herringbone references above) to gloss for a festive appearance. Oiled floors are naturally matt.
Colour: Your floor does not have to stay wood-coloured – with the Pallmann Color Collection (right below) we tint anything from a light Scandi look to dark, smoked tones. You can see examples in the gallery under “Parquet Sanding & Finishing”. Unsure? We lay out samples directly on your own floor – so you see all three decisions (lacquer/oil, sheen, colour) in your own light.
The proven 1K water-based lacquer for residential areas – forgiving to work with, an even finish, available in several sheen levels. A solid choice for normal living.
View at the manufacturer →Our standard: 1K water-based lacquer for heavily used parquet floors. Very hard-wearing, non-yellowing, low-emission – the classic for living spaces.
View at the manufacturer →The 2K premium lacquer for the highest demands – commercial areas, retail, staircases. Maximum abrasion and chemical resistance.
View at the manufacturer →The one-component oil for a simple, fast build-up – natural look, pleasant to apply, ideal for living areas with normal use.
View at the manufacturer →The proven two-component oil for natural, matt wood surfaces. Emphasises the grain, feels warm, repairable in patches – our recommendation for floorboards and an oiled look.
View at the manufacturer →The high-yield 2K oil variant with extended working time – perfect for large areas and demanding projects, same natural finish.
View at the manufacturer →The matching primers under the lacquer – for a calm joint pattern, no side-bonding, and a clean system build-up.
View at the manufacturer →Joint filler solution for closing joints and small imperfections during sanding – for a closed, clean floor picture before sealing.
View at the manufacturer →The Pallmann neutral cleaner for regular maintenance of sealed and oiled floors – gentle, residue-free, economical. Keeps your floor beautiful for a long time.

For special wishes and a special emphasis on your floor we offer pigmenting from the Pallmann Color Collection: the 2K oil-primer system (Pall-X 333 with colour concentrates) tints and primes in one step – from a light Scandi look via warm natural tones to dark, smoked finishes. It is then finished with Magic Oil 2K or a Pall-X seal.
The best part: We come to you with the Pallmann sample case and lay out the colour tones directly on your own floor – just like in the picture. You compare in your light, on your wood, and take your time choosing something beautiful.
